Welcome to Scarborough Public Schools!
We are eager to welcome our newest students to Scarborough Public Schools for Kindergarten in 2024- 2025. For additional student enrollment information, please see the New Student Enrollment Process instructions.
Kindergarten : 2024 – 2025 Registration Now Open
- Kindergarten is open to any student who turns 5 on or before Oct. 15, 2024.
- If your child meets this criteria, and you are sending them to school in the fall, please complete the form linked here: REGISTRATION FORM
- If your child meets the age requirement, but you are undecided about sending them due to their age or developmental level, please complete the REGISTRATION FORM anyway. This will help us plan for all potential students.
- Appointments will be scheduled later this spring in each of our schools to review paperwork, including notarization of residency.
- If your child has specific health concerns, you can call or set up an appointment with one of our school nurses at any time.
- More information will be provided throughout the spring!

New Student Enrollment Process
Student enrollment is now available to complete online. To register your student in the Scarborough School District please use the following steps to begin the online enrollment process. Registering your student for Kindergarten? See the steps above for Kindergarten registration information.

Parent/guardian will complete the New Student Enrollment Form (see Online Enrollment Instructions for more information). |

Set up a PowerSchool Account: Option 1 - Create a new account If you do not already have a Scarborough Schools PowerSchool account (most likely), please refer to these instructions: Creating a New PowerSchool Parent Portal Account. Note: PowerSchool parent accounts may be linked to multiple students, so you do NOT need to create multiple logins for multiple students. If you have multiple students, see option 2 below for setting up additional students. Option 2 - Add new student to an existing account If you have a pre-existing Scarborough Schools PowerSchool account, OR if you are registering multiple students and already created an account for the first student, please use these instructions: Adding Students to Your Existing PowerSchool Parent Portal Account. |

Complete additional Enrollment Forms: These are one-time Enrollment forms; you will not need to fill these out again in the future. To do so, simply login to PowerSchool, click on the "Forms" link in the menu on the left-hand side, then click on the "Enrollment" tab at the top. Forms to complete:

Complete Annual Forms: These are forms all Scarborough families are asked to submit annually, at the beginning of each school year. If you are enrolling a student who will not begin attending until next school year (2024-25) starts in the fall, you may SKIP to Step 5. If you are enrolling a student who will start before this school year ends in June, you may log in to PowerSchool, click on the "Forms" link in the menu on the left-hand side, then click on the "General Forms" tab at the top. Since most information is covered by the enrollment forms you’ve already filled out, there are only three annual forms to complete:

Paper Forms & Supporting Documents: If you are unable to upload documents using the file upload elements on the online enrollment forms, please bring the following documentation to your school office some time during normal office hours, or contact the school directly to make other arrangements.
