Career Pathways
The Career Pathways Program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore career interests through connections with professionals in their field of interest. Informational interviews, job shadows, group job site visits, guest speaker programs and internships encompass the opportunities available to SHS students.

The High School Handbook was developed to assist students, parents, and staff members in understanding their roles and responsibilities at SHS. Many students find the daily calendar to be an efficient way to keep track of assignments, school events, and personal schedules.

1. Boys Basketball sign up meeting will be held after school on Thursday, November 13th, at 2:30 downstairs in the PE/Athletic classroom.

2. Girls Basketball will also be holding a sign up meeting after school on Thursday, November 13th at 2:30 in the Learning Commons.

3. There will be no school on Tuesday, November 11th, due to the observance of Veteran's Day.

4. Student Council will be meeting after school in B201 on Wednesday, November 12th.

5. A reminder to all that Unified Volleyball vs. Staff Game will be played at 2:45 in Alumni Gym on Wednesday, November 12th. Hoping to see you there!

6. The Model UN Club is collecting Dollars for Haiti during Advisory the week of November 17-20. The money helps to buy food and school material for children in Haiti who live in extreme poverty. Please consider giving one dollar to help out children in need.
