The Career Pathways Program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore career interests through connections with professionals in their field of interest. Informational interviews, job shadows, group job site visits, guest speaker programs and internships encompass the opportunities available to SHS students.

The High School Handbook was developed to assist students, parents, and staff members in understanding their roles and responsibilities at SHS. Many students find the daily calendar to be an efficient way to keep track of assignments, school events, and personal schedules.

SHS Announcements for the Week of September 1-5, 2025.

1. Student Council will hold their first meeting after school at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, September 9 in Room B201. Meeting attendance is Mandatory.

2. Attention all students: You are all invited and encouraged to join Key Club! Key Club is a service organization with many volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Please check your email for our Google Classroom Code and join us at our first meeting of the year next Tuesday, September 9 after school in the cafeteria.

3. Attention all students: The Civil Rights Club invites you to join us at our first meeting which is today, Thursday, September 4. We meet after school every Thursday beginning at 2:30. Our meetings are in the All-Purpose Room. We have snacks, fun, and social justice! If you are interested in joining the club, you can come today and/or join our google classroom page. The join code is o36zvd4. See you there!

4. The first Model UN meeting will be held on Thursday, September 18 at 2:30 in Room D116. New members are welcome! See Mrs. Schmid for more information.
