Career Pathways
The Career Pathways Program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore career interests through connections with professionals in their field of interest. Informational interviews, job shadows, group job site visits, guest speaker programs and internships encompass the opportunities available to SHS students.

The High School Handbook was developed to assist students, parents, and staff members in understanding their roles and responsibilities at SHS. Many students find the daily calendar to be an efficient way to keep track of assignments, school events, and personal schedules.

1. Calling all students who are interested in becoming a partner for our Unified Volleyball Team this fall!! The season starts September 30th and will continue into November. An email has been sent to the entire student body with a short application form for all who are interested in becoming a volleyball partner. We are looking for fun, supportive, and enthusiastic individuals who would like to make an impact by promoting the mission of unified sports. Interested individuals must complete the application by the end of this week in order to be considered! Questions? Reach out to Mr. McCormack by email or swing by his classroom in B107. Go Storm!

2. The first Model UN meeting will be on Thursday, September 18 at 2:30 in D116. New members are welcome. See Mrs. Schmid for more information.

3. Please join ECOS at 2:30 in the cafeteria for recycling and gardening! You are welcome to come even if you have not signed up yet, but are planning to. Meetings are weekly on Thursdays after school.
