Career Pathways
The Career Pathways Program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to explore career interests through connections with professionals in their field of interest. Informational interviews, job shadows, group job site visits, guest speaker programs and internships encompass the opportunities available to SHS students.

The High School Handbook was developed to assist students, parents, and staff members in understanding their roles and responsibilities at SHS. Many students find the daily calendar to be an efficient way to keep track of assignments, school events, and personal schedules.

1. Model UN will be meeting on Thursday, September 25 at 2:30 in D116. Model UN Club picture will be this Thursday. Don't be late!

2. Freshmen: On Wednesday, the clinic will be conducting vision screening. Please bring your eyeglasses or wear your contacts on Wednesday for vision screening!

3. Student Council will meet on Wednesday 09/24 at 2:30 in room B201. Attendance is mandatory. If you cannot attend, please email Ms. B-K and Ms. Belton.

4. National Honor Society members are reminded of the meeting on Wednesday, September 24th at 2:30 in the AP Room.

5. Students—are you fluent in another language besides English? Visit or email Mrs. Kelman in Room D206 to learn about the Seal of Biliteracy and how to qualify through language testing. This distinction celebrates your bilingual skills and is a valuable achievement for both college and career pathways!
